How Pluga's billing logic works

You can subscribe to Pluga with a monthly or annual plan, and with the annual plan, we offer a 17% discount! On our pricing page you can find more details about the amounts and features of each plan.
  • Pluga works on a prepaid model, where you pay to guarantee 1 month or 1 year of subscription.
  • There is no loyalty plan and you can cancel at any time.
  • We have a free plan and three regular paid plans, as well as an Enterprise plan. You can find more information on our pricing page.

Below, we will explain how the billing logic works for plan upgrades and downgrades.

Upgrading your plan

After upgrading your plan in your dashboard, Pluga will automatically migrate your account to the new plan, the billing cycle date will be updated and an invoice will be generated. The amount of this charge will be the difference between the amount of the new plan and the amount corresponding to the days or months you will no longer consume from the old plan.

Here's an example

  • Suppose you are on the Basic plan, which costs $17.00, and your cycle restarts every 1st of the month. You then upgrade to the Pro plan, which costs $41.00, on the 16th;
  • This means that you used 15 days of your Basic plan and will not use the remaining 15 days. The amount charged will then be $41.00 - $8.50 (equivalent to the 15 days of the Basic plan that will not be used, but that you have already paid for), which equals $32.50.

The same logic applies to annual plans.

Downgrading your plan

When downgrading your subscription, your account will only be changed to this new plan after the end of your current cycle, whether it is monthly or annual. Remember, until this date, you can cancel the downgrade at any time.

Here's an example:

  • Suppose you are on the Ultimate plan, with a billing cycle on the 5th of the month, and you request a downgrade to the Pro plan on the 13th;
  • You will remain on the Ultimate plan until the end of your current cycle, and your plan will be updated to the Pro plan on the 5th of the following month.

If, at the time of the downgrade, you have more automations than allowed by the chosen plan, we will deactivate the ones that exceed the limit of your new plan, starting with the most recent ones.

You can deactivate the ones you wish before the end of your cycle by accessing your dashboard → “My automations”.

Now that you know Pluga's billing logic, if you want to change your plan, just follow this step-by-step guide: How do I change my plan?

The same logic applies to annual plans. That is, when you sign up for an annual plan in January, you will have access to Pluga for 1 year, until January of the following year. If you cancel the subscription, there is no refund, as your access is maintained until the end of the subscription.
It is possible to upgrade or downgrade the annual plan, taking into account that in the case of a downgrade your access is maintained until the end of the cycle and, in the case of an upgrade, the charge considers the amount that has already been initially paid.
